Thank you for your interest. This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or get in touch with us, and what rights you have.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website runs on a server operated by econix GmbH itself, located in Germany. When you open the website, the server automatically processes information that your browser transmits (server log files):

IP address
date and time of access
page requested and amount of data transferred
referrer URL (the page you came from)
browser type, browser version and operating system

We need this data to deliver the website securely and reliably and to detect attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Log files are deleted after 7 days unless they are needed longer to investigate a security incident. We do not share them with third parties.

3. No cookies, no tracking, no external fonts

This website does not use cookies or any analytics or tracking tools. Fonts and images are hosted on our own server, so no data is transferred to Google or any other third party when you visit.

4. Contact form and email

If you write to us using the contact form or by email, we process the information you provide (name, email address, optionally your company, your topic and your message) in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We do not pass this data on without your consent.

We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations (such as commercial or tax law periods) apply.

5. Online appointment booking

To book an introductory call, we use our own online booking tool, which runs on our server. No external provider is involved. We process the information you enter (first name, last name, email address, phone number, preferred time) solely to arrange the appointment and contact you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data is deleted when it is no longer needed for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Links to other websites

Our website may contain simple links to other websites. Only when you click such a link do you leave our website, and the privacy policy of the respective provider then applies. We do not embed social media plugins.

7. Encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise it by the padlock icon and “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to

access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR) or its processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR),
data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR),
withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
